1. Overview

Welcome to ABCme ("we," "us," "our"). ABCme allows parents and guardians to create personalized, child-safe ABC and coloring books by uploading a photo of their child. By using our website, app, or services ("Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

This service is intended only for parents and legal guardians who are at least 18 years old.

2. Eligibility & Parental Responsibility

You may only use ABCme to create a book for a child if you are:

• The parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo, and
• Legally permitted to provide consent under U.S. law, including COPPA.

By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

• You have full rights to the image,
• The child is your biological or legal child, and
• You consent to ABCme processing the image solely for book creation.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload or submit:

• Photos of children who are not your own (unless you have verifiable legal permission)
• Images containing nudity, violence, or inappropriate content
• Photos owned by someone else without their permission
• Anything harmful, unlawful, or disruptive to our Services

We reserve the right to refuse or delete content that violates these rules.

4. Photo Use & Deletion

To create your personalized book, ABCme temporarily processes the uploaded child photo.

We:

• Encrypt and secure all photos during processing
• Store them only for the duration needed to generate the book
• Automatically delete them within a short, clearly defined retention period (e.g., within 3 hours, or after book completion)

We never:

• Sell photos
• Share photos with third parties
• Use photos for advertising
• Use photos to train AI or machine learning models

Your child's photo is used only to create your personalized book.

5. Book Ownership & License

You retain full rights to your original uploaded photo.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, print, and share your final ABCme digital book for personal use.

ABCme retains ownership of:

• Book layouts
• Illustrations
• Backgrounds
• Artwork and templates
• Any default designs used in your book

You may not resell or distribute ABCme books commercially.

6. AI-Generated Outputs

ABCme uses automated tools, including AI-powered line-art generation, to create personalized illustrations.

You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs are unique but may vary in quality
• Some stylization or minor artifacts may occur
• The final images are not meant to replicate your child exactly, but to safely represent them in line-art style

7. Service Availability & Revisions

We may update, change, or temporarily suspend parts of the Service for maintenance or improvements. We are not liable for delays caused by generation time, network issues, or service interruptions.

8. Payment, Billing, & Refunds

If you offer paid books or printing in the future, a detailed billing policy will apply.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ABCme is not responsible for misuse of printed books or how images are shared by the user.
• ABCme is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• You use the Services at your own discretion.

ABCme complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
