Data Deletion Policy

ABCme takes privacy and child safety seriously. Parents and legal guardians are in full control of their data and can request deletion at any time.

How to request data deletion

To permanently delete your child's photo, profile, and book data from ABCme, please send an email to:

Subject line: IMAGE DELETION REQUEST

In the body of the email, please include:

Your full name
The email address associated with your ABCme account
Your child's name (so we can locate the correct profile)

Once we receive your request, we will:

Verify that the request is coming from the parent or legal guardian associated with the account
Delete all stored data for the child — including photos, line-art renders, and generated books
Confirm deletion via email once complete

What gets deleted

Upon request, we permanently delete:

Uploaded child photos
Profile details (child name, age, etc.)
Generated line-art files
Generated digital books
Any associated temporary files

Deletion applies to all backups and all systems, not just live storage.

How long deletion takes

Most deletion requests are completed within 24–72 hours of receipt.
Confirmation will be sent to the email address that submitted the request.

Automatic, non-request deletion

Even without a request:

Uploaded child photos are automatically deleted after book creation
ABCme does not store photos long-term
ABCme does not use photos to train AI or machine learning models
